After deploying the same WebLogic components repeatedly, it became apparent that BEA has a lack of documentation surrounding simple, repeated operations in a WebLogic server. BEA provides generic APIs to allow one to configure WebLogic, but concrete examples of configuration are hard to come by. The website is structured in the technical cookbook-style, where each recipe is a specific problem being solved. This structure helps get the task done quickly, and without a lot of boring documentation.

Weblogiccookbook

This project scratched an itch by providing a quick reference for all types of WebLogic configuration. Version 1.0 of the website is static content, but Version 2.0 will allow members to upload their own tips and tricks for administering WebLogic servers.

This website is supported solely by advertising, and no member fees or donations will ever be requested. For version 1, the public is invited to identify new recipes, different solutions to the same problem, and other improvements.
