JustPlainSimple Technologies Inc. was founded by Scott Brown in 2007. We help organizations secure their systems, automate the work that slows teams down, and build resilient cloud foundations. Our primary focus is information security, but we work directly with leadership, infrastructure, and engineering so projects move faster with less overhead.

We believe security works best when it supports how people actually do their work. Instead of piling on controls, we reduce friction and build habits that last.

We follow the data from edge to core, identifying risks where people and systems meet. Then we reduce those risks with practical controls and automation that teams can sustain.

Scott Brown

With 22 years in the tech industry, Scott has held roles from customer support to software developer and Head of Security. His focus is practical security that protects teams without slowing them down.

Jenny Brown

Jenny brings deep knowledge of how people learn and adopt new practices. She is a strong advocate for privacy rights and keeping personal data in the hands of the people who own it.

We practice this internally at JustPlainSimple but we also ensure that our solutions to customers are economical as well.

We are located in the beautiful (albeit, rainy) city of Vancouver, Canada. We work remotely to provide services to anyone, anywhere in the world.
